WCCCC Junior Achievement Training
Date: January 10, 2018
Time: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Event Description
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help seventh graders begin thinking about their career choices and future finances now!
Volunteers will teach Junior Achievement’s “Economics for Success”, a structured curriculum that gives students the information needed to build strong personal finances, a cornerstone to a happy, secure life. Students learn the importance of exploring career options based on their skills, interests, and values. They also learn about spending money within a budget; saving and investing wisely; and using credit cautiously. The WCCCC has determined these skills to be so important, we have committed to help teach them to every Barbers Hill seventh grader!
